“You don’t have to be the star to share in the victory.”

This is the last line from a commercial I wrote for Grant Hill to describe his game-winning pass to Christian Laetner for Duke’s improbable March Madness buzzer beater over Kentucky.

The TV spot is titled “The Assist” and pretty much sums up my work ethos: Do whatever it takes to help the team. Always play hard and have fun. Keep pushing forward until the client declares success.

I have extensive experience as a copywriter for ad agencies and loyalty marketing agencies. My work includes emails, websites, social posts, direct mail, print ads, out-of-home, TV commercials and radio spots.

It’s a joy to create a headline that grabs attention and gets the reader to act. I love writing a line that’s read twice because it’s fun, entertaining or just hits home. From banner ads to billboards, I take the same approach: Engage. Sell. Close. Repeat.

When you look at my portfolio you’ll see a wide range of projects for a variety of Fortune 500 companies, plus some extra credit after hours work that has always been my creative oxygen.

I (and my art director partners) have won Push Pins at AdFed The Show, appeared in the Graphis Advertising Annual and were awarded special recognition by the Out of Home Advertising Association of America.

Whatever the opportunity, regardless of budget and timing, I write messages that compel action and make my clients and their customers happy. That’s the ultimate win-win.
